islam is all about violence

in my opinion the religion islam is a religion of violence and nothing other than that, because i have seen many researches and pictures and all of the pictures with prophet mohammad is either holding a sword or getting married to another female. I ask you true muslim how many wives did your prophet get married to ? and how many children have he killed? if that is not violence than i dont know what is !!!
