Reader comment on item: [Fixing] Islam's Image Problem

Submitted by Vivian E. Wolfe (United States), Jul 30, 2003 at 00:55

Are American Muslims concerned about their "image problem"? ... As more of the American public learns about the conditions in our universities related to middle eastern studies, of departmental control by anti-American professors, of hidden ties and sympathies to terrorist groups, the image of Muslims in American may steadily deteriorate. Tax payers should support Congressional investigation of these programs. Moderate American Muslims alone have the power to fix their public image.
