The politics of Political Correctness

Reader comment on item: [Fixing] Islam's Image Problem

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Aug 3, 2003 at 03:48

Dr. Pipes is a brilliant and practical scholar on the Middle East. His thoughtful analysis is crucial to the security of the United States. It is obvious that the some who choose to listen to leaders of groups like CAIR are playing politics with the security of our country.

The imperial Islamic Jihadists, in an act of war and atrocity, supported and funded by Islamic governments in the Middle-East, attacked America on September 11, 2001. Perhaps some of our politicians hear the purported cries of Muslims as victims over the voices of the victims of that horrific day.

In the name of those that died on that terrible day, I will not forget and will not vote for those that put politics before security.
