"Final Answer", Mr. Hussain?

I would have thought an especially perceptive "defender of the faith" like Mr.Hussain might have been capable of positive, constructive criticism instead of choosing not to "dignify" what he can't address, and by classifying it as "nonsensical". Avoiding debate, sadly, is only the easy way out but doesn't give results.

There are two basic points he needs to clearly comprehend. One: violence, if any, is directed against the Church and its vile missionary - not against the Christian community as a whole. Two: it would be stretching one's optimism to the limit in even seeking instances of Christian violence against the Hindu. In a society that has just around 2% Christian (Alas! the grand failure of a millennia-old missionary industry!), no Christian in his right mind would dare contemplate acts of violence or vandalism against the Hindu. But even if one ignores the numbers disparity, it cannot be forgotten that the Indian Christian is really still Hindu at heart (something conversion hasn't quite been able to efface), which prevents him from willingly engaging in anti-social conduct. Nevertheless, the Northeast, which is now almost entirely Christian, has of late been experiencing something of the kind.

No, the anti-Hindu subversion is far more subtle and unobtrusive, as I have tried to emphasize earlier in this discussion. However, the Goa Inquisition is sufficient evidence of the militarily and politically empowered doctrinaire Christian's natural proclivity for... in God's Name.

Notwithstanding all Mr. Hussain states on account of predisposition... as a citizen of the free human world, I respect his right to an opinion and would neither shun it out of hand by calling it "nonsensical" nor suffer any loss of dignity by addressing it manfully.
