Hullo! I appreciate your long response, although I am disappointed that it is short on facts and long on the same old tired apologia for jihad and anti-Hindu rhetoric on caste, hatred against Brahmins and Sati.

There is proof in Persian records of the Mughal reign of all the forced conversions, jihadi massacre, jizia etc.! Aurangzeb alone destroyed 30,000 temples from the length and breadth of India. The Mughals destroyed libraries, temples, monasteries and wiped out pacifist Buddhism from India. Hindu Kush, means massacre of the Hindus, a region where hundreds of thousands of Hindus (and Buddhists) were slaughtered in the contemporary region of Afghanistan.

Nearly all of the Hindu and Buddhist Gandhar (Kandahar) art was destroyed by the jihadis, the last being the Bamiyan Buddhas. The Balti people of northern Pakistan are forcibly converted Tibetan Buddhists, and Kafiristan was forcibly converted to Nooristan as late as the 19th century, with the British turning a blind eye to the plight of the last pocket of Hindus in Afghanistan. I hardly need to mention the annihilation of the Hindu minority population in contemporary jihadi Pakistan and Bangladesh!

Daniel Pipes has himself written about the on-going phenomenon of abduction, forced conversion of minor Hindu girls and their grieving parents in Pakistan under pressure from the mullahs and a conniving administration. Glad you haven't yet discovered our sacred cows and the Indian democratic state of Jammu & Kashmir -- with genuine elections that see peaceful transfer of power between different coalition groups!
