Please try to understand what Al Qaeeda Means

Reader comment on item: Musharraf's Historic Speech
in response to reader comment: Gen. Musharraf A Leader

Submitted by Akber Ali (United States), Aug 1, 2006 at 18:15

First let me define what AlQaeeda is - any one who try to implement his/her will through forces and not through democratic mean is Al Qaeeda (at least for me). That is what happened with Talibans. They wanted to implement their will through force.

Now while I am writing these comments - I am also afraid that may be Pak. Army will try to trace me and threat me and pick my family members by few MI people and to punish me for what I think and believe. The record is very straight and stat. are there. Look at Mr. Hashmi who is behind the bar, why? what he did? just gave few comments/remarks about Pak. Army and what is happening with him. Please correct me if I am wrong.

When you say politician brought Mr. Musharraf - then I am really sorry that you do not understand the definition of a Politician. If you think Choudries, or SherAfghan type of people are politician - then you are wrong.

Now tell me who supported Mujahideen, and Gulbadin HikmatYar. What happened at Ojri Camp - do u remember.? What was said in the Hmood Ur Rehman commission report after our Beautiful and Great Country Pakistan was divided into two.

When you say that there are few Tribal Leaders in Balochistan or Tribal Area - then tell me who supported them. These leaders use to meet Gen. Zia very frequently and he called them Patriots.

My dear sir, please don't mind but the fact remains facts, and the fact is Any Person Who Imposes himslef/ or his idealogy through force is either Al Qaeeda or Dictator.
