It's a sad commentary on the state of Muslim societies that when a Muslim leader gives a speech which contains nothing more than fairly obvious truths about the Jews, it is hailed as a great break-through in Muslim-Jewish relations. I regret to say that I don't believe that it is, not when a huge volume of vitriolic, Nazi-like anti-semitism belches forth constantly from within those same societies, unchallenged by few, let alone condemned.
