Reader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza

Submitted by dagny (South Korea), Feb 16, 2012 at 10:50

How many residents on Gaza can remember what life was like back when they lived in peace with Israel and were not dictated to by a fundamentalist murdering fanatics. Probably not from this generation any longer I fear. The youth of Gaza today know only violence, strict sharia application and a life of poverty brought on by the corruption and misappropriation of the limitless funds streaming in to this tiny part of the world, that sadly, barely reach them and instead fund mansions and grand lifestyles of the Hamas elite.
