Hello Neal,

Israel also asked permission to fly over Iraq as well, to my understanding - President Bush said no.

I agree that Obama's position as president incourages Islamists world-wide; #1 "to-do" on Obama's list?

CLOSE GUANTANAMO.

#2?

WITHDRAW our forces FROM IRAQ.

Is it a coincidence Israeli troops are withdrawing from Gaza 24 hours before Obama gets into office? NOPE. Obama would insert as his #1 a demand that Israel withdraw. I'm hoping Mrs. Clinton will kick some butt - she's not exactly a hawk, but she's not slobbering far-leftist either. It seems she sees the threat of Iran not with the myopic view held by Obama (I'll never forget Obama comparing Russia as the greater threat - "Iran is such a tiny country" - quoting Obama. Hillary would never be such a doofus).

I never thought I'd make the comparison, but next to Obama, Hillary Clinton looks like Margaret Thatcher. She didn't exactly spend her previous time at the White House selecting china and pruning the Rose Garden; hopefully she will knock some sense into Obama regarding Israel's security and a nuclear Iran.

She wouldn't want anything to threaten her run in 2012.
