Reader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza

I think Israeli citizens may be learning lessons from Olmert. I haven't been to Israel, nor do I have a pulse of the street there, but I can sense this latest response to Hamas terrorism has to do with Israelis expecting and wanting their government to act; they're fed up and tired of Hamas time and again violating agreements and endangering their lives. They want action.

That's why I think Netanyahu has a good chance to be Israel's next leader. He seems to me the the guy who Hamas and terrorist should fear the most, and Israel can count on to act in Israel's defense. And he is the Israeli leader most likely to act against Iran. The world will thank whoever does that.
