Israeli strengths and Arab weaknesses

I think analyzing Israel's actions as strategic incompetence is off the mark.

Clearly no entity or combination of entities in the Middle East can lay a hand on Israel. Israeli strengths and Arab weaknesses complement each other so well as to guarantee Israel's continuing domination in that part of the world. Israeli leaders simply must avoid falling asleep at the switch. Clearly Tzipi Livni will never again put up with missile attacks on Sderot. About time.

Israeli leaders talk about the need to reestablish deterrence. Well, they've done that.

What I find concerning is the most recent outpouring of Jew hate around the world. The traditional mind-set still seems to prevail that finds Jews acceptable only as victims. Israel has no answer to that.
