A total absence of Good Judgment

Reader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza

Submitted by daniel (United States), Jan 13, 2009 at 07:07

Since when do you choose your byline and your career over helping Israel and the West fight Jihad? Are you are a columnist, pundit first or a supporter of Israel and its continued existence first? This kind of criticism published in one of Israel's major newspapers while the IDF is in combat does far more harm than good. As one of the commenters on the Post said, this kind of "analysis" demoralizes Israel and its ability to fight. Frankly, as a longtime fan, I consider this your worst and most highly questionable article I have ever read.

I am a strategist, not an advocate or apologist. I write primarily not to build morale or to convince the undecided but to figure out how to win. I think that a useful service.
