Israel, here, and now

M. Tovey,

I applaud your devotion and civility.

When we recognize Biblical delineations of events which will preceed the restoration of Israel by Christ, we can't help but realize that none of these events exist today (as I gave evidence of in a previous post), save the fact that a Jewish State exists, and has done so in modern history since 1948.

To try and implement Biblical scripture on a situation which does not resemble said Biblical scripture is to ignore Israel's right to exist, right to defend herself, as well as Israel's strategic importance as the only true democracy in the Middle East. Israel is our one true ally in the region.

Knowledge of God's Word is valuable; application, invaluable.
