Divine speculation?Reader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza Submitted by Larry B. (United States), Jan 16, 2009 at 06:34 Dear M.Tovey. While I always appreciate your thoughtful comments about the final state of Israel's future as played out from prophecy from the Holy Book, it is always well to remember that the enemies of Israel do not recognize the book as valid. We in the Christian community are sometimes lulled into complacency regarding helping Israel in her fight for freedom from oppression. The cause for that is because we all believe that God will intervene for her sake. What I read and understand is that in those days of the final covenant, it will be an horrific day for Israel. Best that we keep vigilant, and not lukewarm concerning the enemies of Israel. God will bless the nations that help Isreal, and curse the nations that do not. Israel is just now fighting her enemy hamas using the same tactics as hamas, and listen to the whole world cry unfair! These are the nations who will someday reap the rewards of thier lukewarmness. There are always two sides to a battle. One on the battle field, and the other in the press. To you M.Tovey, keep writing, and to the Heroes of the IDF, keep fighting. Peace..
