More mistakes from IsraelReader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jan 12, 2009 at 14:58 One problem of Israel's incompetent strategy is its weak leaders. None of them in recent years have had the courage to really pound their enemies as they should---they have been too complacent by giving away land, thinking that this would appease their neighbors. But it didn't work, it only caused their enemies to gain strength to obliterate Israel and to garner more support and sympathy from the rest of the world. If the Israeli leaders insist that these games are the right course of action, then the Qassam rockets will continue to rain down on Israeli villages, and this long drawn-out conflict will know no end. Some real sacrifices may be necessary, plus a real change of government in order for Israel to be the victors.
