If Israel is in the "End Times", where are the Biblical signs of such?

I respect that you are a Christian, kman. So am I. I did not mean to lump you with evangelicals who praise Israel, while at the same time they assume (ignorantly) she's due for almost complete destruction.

That being stated, if Israel is in the "End Times", where are the Biblical signs of such?

Where are the 144,000 Jewish evangelists (Rev. 7)? The Tribulational saints, Moses and Elijah (Rev. 11:3)? The Revived Roman Empire? The False Prophet (the Jewish Dictator of Israel)? The "seven bowls" of Rev. 16? Where is "the abomination of desolation" (statue set up in the Holy of Holies; all who fail to worship are put to death - Rev. 13:15)? The King of the North (as described in Dan. 11:40)?

Two things will occur before the Tribulation (the five-year time period between the Church Age and the Millenium) -

1. the removal of all believers (including you and me) from the earth at the Rapture of the Church (1 Thess. 4:13-18)

2. the removal of the restraining ministry of God the Holy Spirit (2 Thess. 2:6-7)

The Armageddon campaign occurs towards the end of the Tribulation. As Christians in the Church age, we will not be there to see it (the Rapture occurs first). This is what Biblical scripture reveals.

God's Word is absolute and precise; it is to be applied.

I do not "wish, nilly-willy 10,000 years for Isreal", as you put it.

But according to God's Word, as I stated before, it could be 10 years, or 10,000 before Christ returns. Why?Biblical signs of Armageddon are JUST NOT THERE. They have yet to occur.

Repeat - signs of the "End Times", as described by God's Word, HAVE YET TO OCCUR.

Again, now is the time for Israel's future leadership (elections are comming up) to step up to the plate; I agree with you 100% - Israel's "peace movement" that "wants it's country to withdraw from all war and sit down at the negotiating table" is a HUGE obstacle - the same predicament exists here in the good ol' U.S.A. - Iran, for example, must be addressed if Israel is to survive. Circumstances that surround Israel today are not those which the Bible deliniates will surround Israel prior to Christ's Second Advent. When you take that "off the table", so to speak, you can't help be be re-focused on Israel's imperative to defend herself, and defeat her enemies, once again, HERE, and NOW. Israel is our one, true ally in the Middle East; the only true democracy. She deserves all our support; prayers, as well as a few fly-overs over Iraq (so she can bomb the u-know-what out of Iran's "holes" in their desert).

Christ will return, but in the meantime, it's freedom through military victory.
