partial incompetence?

Reader comment on item: Israel's Strategic Incompetence in Gaza

Submitted by Larry B. (United States), Jan 11, 2009 at 15:48

Thank you Dr. Pipes:

While I agree in part with your thought provoking article, I agree only that it is the leadership that is showing itself incompetent. I would like to hear a post from the I.D.F. units (foot soldiers) and what they think and believe. Therein lies the strength of a nation, and it is where you will find its convictions. I would also like to hear from the called up reservists, and thier vision of where Israel is going.

It seems to me that Israels mission to destroy its enemies has been largely controlled by the world's outcry for peace and cease fires as broadcast over the free worlds news networks. ( excluding sites as these) It might be of service to do an indepth expose' on who controls the free worlds news services, and to what purpose. just a thought.

What has been playing out on the world scene has been a PR battle sucessfully fought by the enemies of Israel depicting the Jews as the aggressors. More can be done to educate the masses about the true nature of Israel as compared to the menace of encroaching ilsam. In this day and age, it is vitally important to NAME YOUR ENEMY.

For every news clip showing bombs falling on Gaza, and talking heads telling us that the IDF is ready to invade Gaza with foot soldiers, there is no coresponding news depicting a nation that has been continuously bombarded by ever growing missle capacity to reach deep into Isreal. The free world must unite behind Isreal and allow the IDF to clean out Gaza and also of Fatah. Neither one of them is in any ones interest especially the "palestinians".

To the IDF, fight on, and Bless You ..
