very few Sikhs are terrorists. second off the Sikh population is well educated so there are less likley to feel the need to be intolerant of other's belief systems. The Kirpan represents adulthood and these folk believe in community and responsibility. The are not dope users so I feel less worried about a Sikh young man carrying his Kirpan openly. If anything if this kid sees some doper attacking another person,he may use the Kirpan to stop it. "sorry Dad,I messed up my knife"
