Jihad (Holy War) is a comprehensive term. In other words, it is not reserved for Moslems. Crusaders had invaded Islamdom in the 11th 12 th centuries under the banner of Holy War. In Islam the World is divided into two houses: The House of War and the House of Islam. War also is not reserved to the sword. Jihad can be carried out by word and persuasion and it is up to you to believe and pay zakat as all Moslem people or stay by your belief and pay Jiziya. Jiziya means privilege because you are not going to defend yourself when attacked, somebody else will protect you! What is wrong in that?! Islam is a religion of cleanliness and justice. It provides for life and the after-life. Man is not an animal which dies in ignorance and beastiality. Man is fine energy. And the experience the soul possesses in this world attaches identity that is liberated in death. The essence of this pure ethereal being is light made of radiant words..The words are aware of their past existence . It is a sort of identity of light that gets its self awareness from the Qur'anic rhythm. If one remains unacquainted with the qur'an,he loses identity in the after world. His soul wanders in a world of incomplete shapes or shadows unawares of their past existence. This is hell. So islam is universal because it teaches man salvation through providence and kindness to the others.
