Do we not seek the same things? The tradition amongst my own folk teaches a man to live his life with an attitude of reverence and gratitude without expectations of reward for the reward is life itself. Do we need anything else? Why must we pine after an after life when we cannot even manage to live this life as G-D has intended? Must we wait for the comming of a Messiach before we start living rightly in the world? Shouldn't we be living as if HE was already here?
