Reader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas - The Veiled Threat Continues

Submitted by Alvina Balog (United States), Sep 4, 2009 at 13:07

Yesterday, upon returning from an operation at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore a scene presented itself. About 8 feet away from us, at the entrance to Homestead Suites in Baltimore stook 4 black figures. Having been raised in a Catholic school, my first thought was that they were nuns. Well, they turned out to be Middle Eastern women (we hope, even though some women are also suicide bombers), one of whom looked as though she needed medical attention. Medical attention from the INFIDELS? I was shocked, always are when seen on TV, but to see them in the lobby of an American hotel was stunning. My husband described it as a punch in the stomach, even though he has traveled extensively to the Middle East on business.
