Sala'am Salah Ali,

There is much in what you say regarding women in the west, half naked walking the streets, I am not what we call in the west a "Prude ", but I do feel, that women should dress a little more conservatively, as for the other things you mention, would you not agree, that many Muslims feel that every man's hand is against them? , would you not also agree, that Islam is intolerant of all other religions ?

Saddam did many things that were not good for the People of Iraq , as it is my belief that all people should live together in peace and harmony , regardless of which tribe or ethnic race they belong to, be they Kurds , or Afghans etc, anyone born in a country are of that country, so , someone born in Iraq, is an Iraqi by birth, as much as someone who is born in Germany is German, religion should not be an issue, the person and the way they live should , Religion can and often does cause much pain and suffering, you mention dignity and freedom, what dignity can there be in murdering innocents as well as soldiers? I know that many consider the occupation of Iraq to be illegal, and I must agree, that the war against Saddam was more of a set-up than it looked at the time.

There is much that the west does not understand about the Arab, and the way he still feels regarding the western double cross after WWI , in which the Arabs rose against the Ottoman Turkish Empire in alliance with the west, Lawrence wanted along with the Arabs to see an Arab nation throughout Arabia, thia was not to be, because the west divided the country up into the regions we have today, under their own control, and with minimal input from the Arabs, this is I feel one of the many grievances that Arabs hold against the west, as my friend in Somalia once said, " An Arab has a long memory,an offence against him flows also through his children, and through his children's children!"
