It is common amongst my folk to have great experiences of the trancendental. We do not often talk of it to outsiders because they would think of us as insane and perhaps from their point of view we would be. BUT, in our world view there is little difference between the spiritual and the material as we see the two together in a great dance of being. When I am working in my garden I do not think of myself as working with 'things' which have no sensitivities of their own but I regard the plants in my care as living and sensitive beings that have their own perspective and world view. To be successful in my endeavour as a farmer I must be aware of the needs of those in my care. If I disregard their needs they die and my effort as a farmer is to no avail for me. Islam could learn much from farmers but how many Muslims are true farmers?
