in response to reader comment: Haji Syed: Why this Muslim obsession with women's clothing?

Submitted by Haji Syed Mehmood Ali (India), Nov 9, 2009 at 06:52

Yes clothing is important in every religion, i don't know about you, well as you have born totally nude and every child too, you should respect the way it is. Clothing also bring respect and nudity disrespect, wearing full also give respect to others and if one be nude in front of others then other will think that he or she does not respect us, it dosn't make any difference wether you like it or not, we Muslims are proud to wear full clothes, as Adam & Eve also wore clothes after they eat an apple, this means that Allah wants every human being should wear clothes. I think now you must have understood that why we should wear full clothes.
