Hitler is Left Wing.

Reader comment on item: The Paterson 'Protocols'
in response to reader comment: Hitler's right-wing credentials

Dauntless,

Politiking soars high above ideology and you have to remember that the Nazi-Sozi (or whatever) held a non-aggression pact with Soviet Russia.

The fact is this, the Left were competitors to Hitler and you also forget that there have been numerous reports from the Nazi-Sozi members that the communists were the most easily recruited because they shared close to the same ideology. You also seem to be utterly ignoring the rammification of politics and down playing their role.

Hitler in every sense as I remember it is left wing, from his nationalism opposed to patriotism, the exaltation of a leader, to the will of the worker masses, to conformity of the people into a perfect vision etc. etc. etc. The left unlike the right can paint pictures of utopias, the right can offer only a slightly better but non-allegory world.

Please examine Hitler's writings, the movements that he made and be fully aware of the politics behind them. Please look at the facts and don't pollute the public sphere with sheer contemptible ignorance.
