Why the need for conservatives?

Exactly Casey. I don't understand the revisionism of changing which side of the political spectrum Nazis are on.

Communism and Fascism or Nazism are both totalitarian and in that they have similiarities but Hitler was trying to enact the 3rd incarnation of the Roman Empire. Fascism employs a caste society to where the pure bloods get all the loot. Next we have the semi bloods who are restricted in what they can do and what they can get. Then we have the non bloods and we from history know what they get. They serve the Empire until no longer needed and then are discarded like cattle. Now who else do we know who did that? Or did the Romans now just become Communists. There was open competition between German companies to build war materials. The US is certainly not a Communist nor a Socialist nation yet we do bail out private entities. The US does give more exclusive rights to build for the government than other companies and again this does not make us Communists nor Socialists so it shouldnt Nazi Germany as well.

In a totalitarian state one has to employ a police state to control the masses. It doesnt matter what side of the political fence one is on. One should not confuse gun control laws with exact ideology but means that work for the ends of either spectrum.

Hitler opposed capitalism but in that its zeal to earn went overboard not that private enterprise should be eliminated in entirety. Hitler opposed communism partly because it robbed us of our national identity.
