Hitler was far left

I agree that the Nazi movement was a left wing one. The Nazis epitomize big government, they viewed the government as the answer to all their problems. How history could confuse a movement that was so violently against individual property rights, pro-gun control, pro-big government control, and generally against individual choice and consequence with the political right is beyond me.

The Nazis were openly socialist and opposed marxists/communists as competition more than for idealogical reasons. Communists could have stolen Germans away from the Nazi movement. For some reason many beleive that the Nazis were right wing, this is patently false.
