Reader comment on item: The Paterson 'Protocols'

Submitted by Petronius (United States), Mar 15, 2003 at 04:04

One matter that seems to me to be of transcendental importance, is the issue of eco-socio-political systems. Particularly now that humanity has actively managed to adopt different ancient models. America had achieved with unprecedented fairness to manage celestial amounts of wealth and resources. But the case of our young republic has changed in my opinion dramatically over the last 27 years. And in this last administration, my worst fears regarding this issue have come to a troubling reality. It seems that the way things are handled now, are less similar to our system of a republic, and sadly much more like an empire. I then reflect on how this could alter the delicate balance of power we had managed to develop.
