Mr Peter,

You said no Muslim country was founded with popular consent! do some reading next time in western before Muslim sources if you want academic respect. If you want something like being hit in the head by a 1958 Buick, than here is a flash you need to get some color to you wishful knowledsge.

In Morocco, Islam was not the state culture as it was limited to the upper north after Uqba Ibn Nafi and Mussa ibn Nusayr dominated the costal north and north west of today`s Morocco. But it became later when Idriss the Shiite persecuted by the Khalif Haroon sought refuge in Morocco, the head of the Awraba Tribe gave his his doughter and made him the king.

But the point that matters is not the argument of whether or not there was popular consent. The bottom line is about a universal right. The right to decide one`s own destiny. I think the Palestinians have the right to decide their destiny and if the Israelites do not like it, they should be up and ready for the consequences.

If the place is too small we suggested a binational democracy. If one side speaks Jewish and the other side speaks Islamic, than we will not come to terms. In this case, may god bless the winner. I like winners and not losers and for them I will remove my hat and put on the idiot commentators..
