UN Preventing Further AttacksReader comment on item: Hold Damascus Responsible Submitted by Kerry Winn (United States), Aug 1, 2006 at 15:32 Is bogus. They may go and play the political tap dance in Damascus, but this will be futile as the "Peacekeepers" will look the other way as Damascus continues to arm militants. They looked the other way when a genocide occured in Bosnia. They ran like bats out of hell in Rwanda. They ran after they were attacked in Iraq. There is no group, including NATO, that will do anything to prevent further attacks against Israel. Turning Syria and Iran into glass sounds positive at the moment. Quite frankly, the USA, UK (Blair may be voted out) and Australia appear to be doing much of the work.
