Action Against Syria

I agree with putting Syria on the hotspot in the Middle East crisis. Israel is never going to win in this ongoing battle against the Hezbollah just like in the past. It is fighting against an organisation that is spread in different places; if the fighting stops today from one region, it will restart from another place tomorrow. These are people who don't care whether or not they lose their lives in acheiving their objectives and they certainly don't care if civilians die as well; for all they care, they should be in harmony with their mission.

But I don't agree that Syria should be attacked in return for each rocket that Hezbollah launches into Israel. Israel has destroyed so much of Lebanon's infrastructure and displaced thousands of people. To use the same stick with Syria would be wrong. Only diplomatic actions should be taken. What Syria is doing is supporting Iran and the Hezbollah by letting them use their roads for their dirty work. This is an issue that can be talked out. No need for using fire. Just like it says in the article, Israel should only " 'speak' Turkish" to the the Syrians.
