Syrian key to Hezbollah

Reader comment on item: Hold Damascus Responsible [for Hezbollah Violence in Southern Lebanon]

Submitted by David Sabghir (United States), Aug 1, 2006 at 09:19

It goes without saying that without resupplies, Hezbollah will suffer. It is a good idea to go after Syria if Israel has the will to widen the conflict (and if the US gives Israel the green light).

Essentially, Israel should do whatever it can to eliminate Hezbollah and while they are at it, they should target the Syrian havens for the Hezbollah leadership.
