Reader comment on item: Hold Damascus Responsible [for Hezbollah Violence in Southern Lebanon]

Submitted by David W. Lincoln (Canada), Aug 1, 2006 at 09:41

Holding Syria responsible for Hezbullah is only part of the solution. As long as Israel is not on the map when students are being taught, when the Protocols of the Elders of Zion is made into an 18 episode mini series, as long as Jews and Christians are referred to as the spawn of Satan; and if anyone leaves Islam, capital punishment is a very real option- a lot of work has to be accomplished.

When you look at the swamp that needs to be drained, for those lands to enter the 21st. Century, certain things have to be in place: chief among them, the liberty to pursue liberty.
