I understand that Syria, despite its pitiful army and air force, has 600 to 700 missiles capable of hitting every city in Israel and armed with chemical and biological weapons. Unless Israel is prepared to wage a war to the death with Syria it cannot strike Syrian targets selectively, as is suggested in this article.
