Naivity at it's best

Reader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species
in response to reader comment: A more realistic scenario

Submitted by Jim (United States), Mar 16, 2018 at 18:14

My mom was the party girl. Immature. Spent what little she earned on herself. Eventually, her parents died; left her to fend for herself. In her world of irresponsibility, she ran through what little money someone else earned for her; then she was destitute. I was her oldest son. I was 35lbs malnourished when I joined the Air force the day I turned 17 years old. I worked my way out of the poverty that my mother's irresponsibility created. Make all the excuses for her you want. I know better. I lived the mess she created.
