Liberals in AcademiaReader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species Submitted by Robert B. Benowitz (United States), Apr 12, 2005 at 16:16 What I do not understand is why "Liberals" must be anti-Israel. It seems to me that a Liberal is one who is open to understanding many points of view and is not locked into one frame of thinking. If that is so then it seems that a Liberal ought to consider both Israeli AND Palestinian points of view and not be locked into condemning one side or the other.Thank you for your outstanding, thoroughly researched, articles. R. Benowitz Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
