Conservative facultyReader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species Submitted by D. Lavallee (United States), Apr 12, 2005 at 16:09 I noticed that only the English, social science departments, etc., are listed. My degree was in chemical engineering. I am sure that there are many faculty members who are not part of the English department on college campuses, and I am sure that only a fraction of the student body chooses English as a major. So, I am wondering if anyone has researched the hard science departments, or other areas - music and business for example. One might find that it is only in the English and social sciences that one finds liberal faculty.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
