I got out because of leftist biasReader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species Submitted by John Hornbeck (United States), Apr 14, 2005 at 23:28 Yes, I left university after earning my Master's because I did not desire to be penalized for my viewpoints. The road to a PhD was paved with uber-leftist professors, one of which openly declared in my first graduate level class (back in 2001) his wish for "that idiot George Bush" to lose the next election. I knew from that point on that I would have to mask my true political leanings if I were to make a decent and deserved grade (amazingly I got an A in that course by avoiding any political leaning). To be fair, there were some middle ground professors who stuck to teaching, however, a walk down the halls where the educator's offices were, subjected one to many pro-Marxist/Leftist and virulently anti-Capitalist/Rightist propaganda sheets, cartoons, etc. that were posted outside the doors and on hallway bulletin boards. After two years of this constant mental beating, I took the sheepskin and moved on despite a plea from one decent professor to "make a go it" for a PhD. As for the lefty troll dropping garbage earlier about Bush's "drug use" and "criminality", all I can say is that spouting and shouting conspiracy theories lends zero credence to your argument. Thanks for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you... Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
