Liberals don't have the monopoly of blindnessReader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species Submitted by Germain Lucas (Canada), Apr 14, 2005 at 13:01 After reading all this "Liberals bashing", I think I have to make a comment:Mr.Pipes has frequently stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (or at least the elite) is funding Koranic schools which are preaching hatred and cotempt for USA and the Occidental world in general. And there are signs that KSA might be related to terrorists' funding. Still, KSA is the US government's pet (for both Republicans and Democrats) because Occident and mainly USA are dependent on SA's oil. Logically both Conservatives and Liberals should at least find a common ground with the promotion of energy efficient cars: the conservatives for reducing US dependency on (foreign) oil and Liberals for slowing the global warming. But the conservatives (except maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger) are deeply against any regulation promoting energy efficient cars. Each time conservatives are puting gas in their big SUVs, part of their money might finance radical islam. They should keep this fact in mind before throwing rocks at "Liberals".
