Christian who believes in science

Reader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species
in response to reader comment: Academics put off by GOP pandering to religious superstition

I disagree with your veiw that the conservative party is "increasingly dominated by people who believe truth should be determined by revelation, not research." I believe that there are basic truths that the Bible has laid out that apply to all people, and that those truths are not relative. however, the Bible does not give us a single clue as to the science behind the creation.

Yes, the science behind creation. God had to have rules to govern the universe that He had created, and the Bible does not tell us what those rules are. I have a simple question for all people who read my post: where would we be without Pythagoras, Aristotle, Euclid, Alcmaeon (discoverd the primary nerves and their route to the brain), Archimedes, Ptolmey, Newton, Gallileo, Pasteur, DaVinci, Marie Curie, Rontgen, Benjamin Franklin, Einstien, Edison, and thousands of other scientists who challenged the popular ideas and discovered new things, all because they believed that truth is only found by research. I wonder how many of these scientists were Christian? and how many would agree with today's form or Conservatism?
