What ever happened to the " Center" ?

llowing the drug companies unfettered ability to raise prices in the USA while selling the very same drugs to foreign countries at much lower prices !

Attempting to destroy social security rather than " fix" it using the solutions put forward by AARP.

Planning, deliberately and with great foresight to destroy Medicare by pushing seniors into HMO's by putting extra money into HMO's rather than into Medicare funding. Cutting Medicare payment to doctors so that they will no longer be able to take Medicare patients and be forced into HMO's. THIS IS ALREADY HAPPENING.

Destroying public education, deliberately, through a combination of underfunding and diverting money to "vouchers" where special interest groups will ultimately be able to spread their own forms of intolerance. Public Education is the great leveler in our country. It is where children are exposed to those of different cultures and SHOULD be exposed to American culture while allowing them to appreciate the cultures of other people. VOUCHERS are divisive.

Following financial policies that will result in horrendous inflation in order to re-pay our catastrophic national debt. Such inflation will be another nail in the coffin of the middle class.

Think of it: Attacks on Education, Jobs, Financial Security, Health Care, Social Security,
All to benefit the top 5 % of people in our country. Those who think that President
Bush doesn't know what he is doing, are sorely mistaken. He knows EXACTLY
what he is doing.

Unfortunately the " liberals" do not have a clue as to where the center of American Interests is.
