I am conservative.Why not?

Reader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species

Submitted by Marcos Berenstein (Brazil), Apr 12, 2005 at 23:04

Communism's orphans are seeking revenge. They simply erased from
their memories the entire year of 1989 .Their wicked ideology sunk as
deep as the Bismark or the Titanic did to the bottom of the Atlantic.
The Communist wall came down, under the auspices of the conservatives
Ronald Reagan and the Pope...If it weren't for them,Eastern Europe
would still be living under a red, atheistic, totalitarian flag.

Being student in such a hostile environment must be troublesome, for
you intend to LEARN,nevertheless what is being taught in there is a bunch of
twisted, biased and PERSONAL interpretations of their leftist teachers!!!I
Since my own experience with that sort of thing,in which a professor made a remark
against Israel during a lecture on a subject that had NOTHING TO DO
nor with politics or with Middle-East either,I simply LEFT the place WHILE HE
WAS TALKING in front of 200 people...Yeah.That's me.

If people label myself of RIGHT-WINGER,I make no apology.I AM. We
all live in democracies, but left-wingers assume that they monopolize
knowledge. We,conservatives are called primitive and "dumb".We are
not as long as we read, study the subject that we intend to discuss.
Israel is a major target for left-wingers around the world because is
considered an staunch American ally in the most hostile, backward,
anti-American region in the entire world,a land-version of an American
aircraft carrier.Several people told me that they hated Israel for being
Uncle Sam's Rottweiller...actually I'm proud of that.

Ironically,Israel is a place where left-wingers are among its most remarkable earlier
leaders, such as David Ben Gurion and Golda Meir.Leftists love to
ignore that Soviet Union voted for Israel in 1947 alongside with America...
Soviet-occupied Czechoslovakia's weaponry was made available as
soon as the Independence War broke out in 1948,a critical time
when America was still reluctant to help Israel.

So,supporting dictatorships like Syria,Cuba,Iran and North Korea is "COOL"
while giving support for building a democracy in Afghanistan and
Iraq is considered as "IMPERIALISM"...Who's the dumb one?

Hey guys, have you noticed how they love to wear CUBAN FLAGS,CHE GUEVARA'S T-SHIRTS??? It's SICKENING.Most of them simply don't have a clue of who he was...

They WORSHIP a dude who simply wanted to create a STALINIST,ATHEISTIC
SOUTH AMERICA...until,of course,he met with his well-deserved destiny in Bolivia,1967.

I really don't miss him.
