GPA Parable flaws

Reader comment on item: Conservative Professors, an Endangered Species
in response to reader comment: Dad teaching daughter in college what socialism is.

1. Parable is biased.
2. Characters are biased. Dad is "wise", daughter is hard working and taking a heavy load, Audrey is a slacker.
3. GPA is not fungible as money is, knowledge is not as fungible as money is, therefore GPA is a shitty analogy. If GPA flowed as easily as money, then GPA could ebb and flow as advantage requires.
4. Money gravitates towards money. If I give money to someone, I may expect that it will come around back to me. Concentrated wealth is not capitalistic. Progressive marginal taxes are. Everyone participates, but not equally.
5. Money can be made from money as in a "fractional banking system". GPA does not.
