no peace at all

Reader comment on item: Musing on History
in response to reader comment: It still seems to me, that faith and faith-based worldview are at the heart of things

"Honestly, Moh, I'm having a hard time, lately, seeing the Muslims as anything but animals."

Why is that strange? Technically, they are. But in the sense you mean it, people can become worse than animals - that's what makes us human! ;- )

They were kept caged up by dictators for years; and now that they've been set free,

They've been imprisoned in a far worse psychological cage for countless generations. And now, seeing that the 'religion of peace' hasn't delivered them any peace at all, they think they'll find it in Europe. But of course they will still be ignorant enough to want to try to turn Europe islamic. They'll never twig to - 'wherever I go, there I am'.

"..they are streaming into Europe like a horde of Zombies, pounding on the fence and crying "Alahu Akhabar!"

mostly well fed, non-Syrian, young males with iPhones (they managed to lose all their passports, but of course never their iPhones) looking for the magical promised land of Germany (or Sweden, whichever has the highest benefit rates). Merkel hopefully has now had time to glimpse the awful repercussions of her stupidity and arrogance. 'Leaders' who make such drastic unilateral decisions do so often to boost their own egos . They'll pride themselves on what wonderful humanitarians they are. But of course Merkel would never actually live in a street full of muslims.

"In Israel, meanwhile, they are going around randomly stabbing Jews. Are these humans? I don"t think so."

They are ignorant human beings who will never be anything other than what they are. Personally, I've lost any concern I ever had for their welfare. Their troubles they bring upon themselves.

"I don't think God made these people inherently defective. "

I don't think 'God' had generations of first cousin marriages in mond either, but here we are.

After all, they are kinsmen to the Jews and to the rest of us.

Really? Honestly , seeing the character of a smart , devoted dog inspires more good than many of these miscreants

Power? Power belongs to God; and He gives it to whoever He will.

Power has a lot of meanings. I mean power in the sense of poitical power. Hitler, Stalin, JFK had political power. Germans and Americans have political power. Muslims don't have any influnce in the West but they want it badly. They already have the 'supreme relgion ( know, it says so in the koran) - so they're at the top of the heap so they tell themselves. But it gets so frustrating for them when noone else believes them and the rest of the world leaves them for dead in every area..

"Does the quest for "power" cause a people to destroy their own country, then wander through the fields to neighboring countries, seeking to destroy them?"

Out of politeness you forgot to menton all the trash they leave behind
