in response to reader comment: Turkey, Iran, the Kurds and Israel -- and Obama Treachery

Submitted by Mohammed Waza Khiddif Id'ullah (Australia), Aug 3, 2015 at 07:36

"...the Turks and Iranians are diametrically opposed to one another: The Iranians support the Assad government of Syria (which is fighting against ISIL) and the Turks, in a double-twist of irony, are fighting to crush the Kurds of Turkey, Syria and parts of Iraq (who are, along with Assad, the foremost enemies of ISIL)..."

The sad truth is, if I woke up tomorrow and heard on the radio that all those countries had been reduced to ashes - either flattened by an asteroid or stray or targetted nukes - I couldn't give a rat's arse. Except for the sliver of humanity seen in the eyes of some of the people there - it does seem like a lost cause.
