Is islamic tyranny worse than other tyranny ?

Reader comment on item: Friendless in the Middle East
in response to reader comment: What have Islamists learned from Iran?

Submitted by Lars (Denmark), Dec 15, 2011 at 15:50

I understand your comments so, that You think, islamist tyrants are worse than other tyrants. I disagree. The iranian tyranny has improved education i Iran and through this advancement, it has created a new generation, which is critical to the regime. Also many other iranians have learned to despise the regime, and this is a serious threat to islamism.

Oldfashioned autocratic middle east leaders are of course also a threat to islamism, but their days are over. So the only way to beat islamism is to let them take over and prove, that they have no solutions to the needs of the middle east populations.
