in response to reader comment: Islam and Quran is only a Concept

786 has no basis in islam - it is a concoction.

gahryr sharif is unislamic - has no basis in the sharia and is innovation( bida)

as for, the name Allah - it is from aramaic like elloh, not sanskrit. the name Allah has no gender, and can't be played around with like God.eg. godfqather, godess, etc. If u put small 'a' to Allah ist doesn't Allah a false God as you can do with the word 'God'.

As for the circumbulation around the kaaba seven times, well it is a symbolic meaning of tawhid.eg. oneness of Allah. And seven times is part of our ibadat. We don't worship the stone, but respect - for most part it was missing and cracked in pieces and had to be placed in the glass with silver to protect it.i.e. the silver has nothing to do with the thoery that the professor is saying.

And the king he is mentioning said he had sent people to Arabia, not that he came to arabia. am looking at the Rand Mcnally's Atlas of the world history, what I don't see is the parts Makkah & Madinah have ever been under any of the super powers of old who were the biggies like of Persians and Alexandrians except of course the Muslims' own Ummayads, Abbasides and Ottomans.
Don't believe go buy one or go to your local library if you have one!!!

The Indians barely went past Afghanistan or Persia in the heydays of Chandragupta or Ashoka's Mauryan dynasty.
That knucklehead happens put forward a hypothesis that TAJ MAHAL was a shrine of Hindu deities too. WHo will buy that in todays world? Yes if the Hindus are so jealous of Mumtaz Mahal/ Shah Jahan's jewel of a mausoleum where many heads of states have gone to be a witness of the historical monument.

They can destroy it just like they did the Babri Mosque cuz they have the majority and the power but that is about it.

and the zam zam water isn't exactly near the kaaba, and so what if there is a similarity. a similarity doesn't mean the same. Also we muslims believe that very nation recieved Allah's message, so maybe certain ways got mixed into the paganism. Remeber your religion - hinduism - in the scriptures belive in the oneness of God, not idols. Even if the king's messenger were arabia, that doesn't mean they built the kaaba. It's a theory.

Allah knows best.

As for zakir naik, well why don't you ask him this question. Afraid to get a good answer?
