in response to reader comment: Buddhism - An antidote for Hinduism

To to understand the nuances of any religion you need to lead that way of life. Whether its Hindu, Islamic, Christian, Buddhist or Judaism. Hindu religion is an ever evolving religion. It allows the scope to correct itself when it falters as it has done so many times. That's why perhaps this religion is still there and still keeps flourishing. It has so many followers world over without subjugating anyone to accept it. It allows the person to search for truth in any way. It tolerates all other schools of thought believing perhaps that could be one more path to truth. As for your knowledge of Hinduism Pamoda, I would say, your knowledge is skewed & flawed. As I said in the beginning you have to lead a Hindu life to understand truly about Hinduism. From far u will see it only as an ocean filled with salty water, only when u take a dip in this ocean will u realize about its true beauty.
