Reader comment on item: [The Issue of Compulsion in Religion:] Islam is What Its Followers Make of It

Submitted by indian (India), Nov 7, 2008 at 15:26

After reading all these comments only one thing that is coming out to be as result is islamic fundamentalism can never be stopped. the main route of great religions like Hinduism, Christianity, budhism is peace, progress and non violence, while the main problem with islam is their religious fundamentals are totally focused on violence. they call all muslims as "Kafir" and show disrespect to them. in quran it is said that it is the religious duty of each and every muslim to spread the islamic state by any way they can. they say' " we have ruled the world centuries ago and we will rule it again, this is a message to all the muslims of the world to contribute in it in any possible way they can". so u can see how dangerous the situation is today.
