I think Pamodha needs to learn better first before commenting. You do not understand that actually in Hinduism the statues are not meant as a direct worship as people do now. It was a point of focus for people to pray and acknowledge that god is in all forms. Also the Kama-Sutra and sex worship : where did you get this information? Probably because you have been reading from western magazines and the internet where these things have been taken out of context, by the way you need to understand the scriptures or epics like Ramayana or Gita better.

Do you actually know what is the meaning of it? You mentioned wrong morals in these some real/mythological stories and you do not understand that these stories were based on bad and good to teach people what was righteous and what was not. Animal worship is practised by people but even this is not practised by certain sects in Hinduisim because of ahimsa, have you not heard of Ghandi? You mean to say Islam does not have animal worship? Or christianity? What about slaughtering of cows during muslim celebrations? What about thanksgiving and turkey?

Have you actually read Hindu scriptures? Those sexual things you talk about were not highlighted as the only thing but used now in modern age as the be all and all for some corrupt individuals who most times are not even Hindu, those "temples" you see now is not the temple you view now with the same eyes and mind it was not for religious purposes as so much as it is now with the modern temples, you need to think deep. Buddha included some of the philosophy from famous Hindu monks didn't you know that? It is a branch from the Hindu religion that has some closeness to Sankhya philosophy. The only thing you got right here was about the caste system which are practised by some hard core "Hindus", but my dear lady You have no idea what you are talking about at all. All religions have their faults, you seem to align yourself to Christianity and Islam why? Are you trying to be politically correct? Tell me something did Buddha asked to have statues of him in temples and worship him? Have a backbone and an original mind, for me all religions have been misinterpreted by man many times, everyone one of them fought in the name of god, so do me a favour and educate yourself a bit more before you talk
